Santo Domingo. – El estratega político Jorge Lendeborg anunció su renuncia al cargo de asesor de campaña de Abel Martínez, candidato presidencial del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD).
Lendeborg, quien había estado en el puesto por poco más de un mes, explicó que no podía trabajar con un candidato que intentaba asumir múltiples roles, incluyendo el de jefe de campaña y estratega, sin una dirección clara y planes coherentes.
En sus declaraciones, Lendeborg mencionó que el método de trabajo de Martínez no se alineaba con sus principios de eficacia y trabajo en una sola dirección. Resaltó la importancia de contar con una planificación estratégica, métodos y recursos adecuados para que un proyecto político pueda avanzar. Además, señaló que su decisión de renunciar se basaba en la falta de interés por parte de Martínez en librar una verdadera batalla electoral y en la existencia de múltiples agendas dentro del PLD, que podrían interferir con el proyecto de Martínez para el 2024.
Lendeborg también hizo referencia a otros partidos políticos, como el Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM) y la Fuerza del Pueblo, mencionando que en estos existen proyectos presidenciales más definidos para el futuro, mientras que en el PLD hay una falta de enfoque claro. Afirmó que Martínez parecía estar más preocupado por mantenerse en el 2024 y resurgir como posible candidato en el 2028, sin considerar que no hay espacio para agendas individuales dentro del partido.
“El método de trabajo no va conmigo, debido a que un proyecto se hace bastante difícil trabajar con un candidato que quiere ser su propio jefe de campaña, de estrategias y con diferentes planes a la misma vez, por lo que entiendo lo correcto es trabajar con efectividad y bajo una sola línea, es decir debe existir un solo plan y trabajar todos en la misma dirección. Es por ello que no estoy dispuesto a perder mi tiempo” expuso.
Añadió además que, un proyecto sin planificación, estrategia, métodos, procesos, comunicación efectiva y sin recursos, no puede avanzar. Estos y otros factores me llevaron a renunciar y declararme agente libre.
La renuncia de Lendeborg representa un golpe para la campaña de Abel Martínez, ya que perderá el apoyo de un reconocido estratega político. Esta situación también pone de manifiesto las tensiones internas y las diferencias estratégicas dentro del PLD, que podrían afectar la cohesión y el rumbo del partido de cara a las próximas elecciones.
