El manejo prudente dado por la actual gestión del Ministerio de Hacienda a las finanzas públicas del Estado dominicano ha generado que inversionistas extranjeros se sientan atraídos por las subastas de bonos que realiza el Gobierno en el mercado interno, en moneda local y a una tasa menor que la de hace un año.
Así lo confirmó el ministro de Hacienda, Jochi Vicente, quien destacó que una parte importante de las últimas emisiones hechas por la institución, en el mercado de valores dominicano, ha despertado interés por parte de inversionistas foráneos, lo que demuestra la confianza de estos en la economía nacional.
Vicente se expresó en estos términos luego de informar que este miércoles el Gobierno logró colocar bonos en el mercado doméstico a una tasa de corte de un 9.40 %, lo cual representa una reducción de 347 puntos básicos en relación con la de hace un año.
“Tenemos siete meses consecutivos logrando reducciones (en la tasa de interés de los bonos emitidos en el mercado local). La semana pasada dije que la confianza es el buque insignia de nuestro Gobierno. La subasta de títulos que realizamos hoy lo confirma”, resaltó.
El funcionario detalló que de junio de 2022 a abril de este año, el Banco Central aumentó en 200 puntos básicos la Tasa de Política Monetaria. Sin embargo, agregó que en este mismo período los rendimientos de los bonos del Ministerio de Hacienda se redujeron en 187 puntos básicos.
“En los últimos dos meses el Banco Central ha disminuido la Tasa de Política Monetaria en 75 puntos básicos. En este mismo período, los rendimientos de los bonos del ministerio se redujeron en 160 puntos básicos. (Esto es) confianza”, puntualizó.
Como parte de la estrategia de deuda de la actual administración, se han priorizado las colocaciones en el mercado interno, lo cual permite mitigar el riesgo cambiario en las cuentas fiscales y sostener su compromiso con el desarrollo del mercado de capitales dominicano.
