Moradores de Cancino Adentro denuncian ola de robos y atracos en sector

Santo Domingo Este. –  Los constantes robos y asaltos cometidos principalmente por jóvenes mantienen en zozobra a residentes en Cancino Adentro, del municipio Santo Domingo Este, donde la delincuencia  aumenta ante la indiferencia de las autoridades.

Explican los residentes de Cancino Adentro que a diario se registran atracos y asaltos a mano armada y que las victimas se ven obligadas a entregarle todas las pertenencias a los delincuentes. Afirmaron, asimismo que están acostumbrados a los gritos de personas y el corre corre de los que tratando de salvar sus vidas ante la ola de robos en el sector.

Y como si se tratara de un hecho común, a tempranas horas de la tarde, o en la mañana hay quienes testifican que les han despojado de sus carteras y que ya no encuentran qué hacer ante la situación que se está viviendo aquí mientras aún se habla de seguridad ciudadana.

Los residentes del sector se mantienen en ambiente de intranquilidad al no saber qué sucederá en horas de la mañana y de la noche, pues según denunciaron es el mal de nunca acabar.

Máximo Jiménez explicó que cuando las personas se trasladan a trabajar para las Zonas Francas tempranito en la mañana son despojados de sus pertenencias y amenazados por los vándalos.

Añadió que, en ocasiones los delincuentes golpean a las víctimas para despojarlas de sus pertenencias ante la resistencia de algunos a entregarles sus propiedades.

Jiménez, contó que en la calle cuarta recientemente una joven de nombre Mireya que iba con su niño de dos años en los brazos, fue despojada de su celular y cartera y que el agresor puso el machete en el cuello del bebe para atemorizar a la madre.

En iguales términos se expresó Yemeri Rosario, quien dijo que el sector ha vuelto a perder los niveles de seguridad que tenía debido a que los delincuentes hacen lo que les venga en gana, sin que las autoridades impidan continúen delinquiendo en el barrio.

A pesar de que la situación afecta a los lugareños, muchos tienen temor a denunciar por temor a represalia de los antisociales, y claman porque la Policía Nacional tenga mayor presencia en esos sectores, ya que según explicaron, pocas veces ven una patrulla.

Los moradores del sector solicitaron al director de la Policía, Eduardo Alberto Then, que envié agentes a la zona para que la gente pueda vivir en paz y seguridad.
