El director ejecutivo del Instituto Nacional de Educación Física (INEFI), Alberto Rodríguez Mella, se reunió este martes con su homólogo cubano Osvaldo Vento Montiller (INDER) con miras a retomar las relaciones y posteriormente firmar un acuerdo de colaboración entre ambas instituciones caribeñas.
“Este encuentro lo hacemos con el principal objetivo de fortalecer la capacitación de los maestros de educación física y el deporte escolar en la República Dominicana. Estamos actualmente estudiando la posibilidad de realizar un acuerdo de gran relevancia para ambas instituciones”, sostuvo Rodríguez Mella.
Osvaldo Vento Montiller preside el Instituto Nacional de Educación Física y Recreación de la República de Cuba (INDER), entidad que opera de manera similar al INEFI en el país antillano.
Rodríguez Mella adelantó que el INEFI estará participando en la X Convención Internacional de la Actividad Física y el Deporte (AFIDE) que tendrá lugar en el Palacio de Convenciones de La Habana, Cuba, del 27 al 30 de noviembre próximo.
En el encuentro también estuvieron Carina Soto Agüero, embajadora de Cuba en el país, y Manuel Morel, director docente del INEFI, entre otros dirigentes y técnicos deportivos.
