EL PORTAVOZ, SANTO DOMINGO ESTE. – El aspirante a la alcaldía de Santo Domingo Este por el Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), Adán Peguero realizó una jornada de fumigación, prevención y educación para los residentes de diversos barrios de esta demarcación, respondiendo al llamado de juntas de vecinos, iglesias, escuelas, clubes deportivos y otras entidades comunitarias.

Peguero explicó que esta jornada tiene como objetivo fundamental mitigar la propagación y contagio de enfermedades como el dengue y otras infecciones contagiosas, como parte de su compromiso con el bienestar y la salud de sus conciudadanos.

Además, destacó que acciones como esta son una manifestación del tipo de liderazgo que planea ejercer si llega a ocupar la alcaldía municipal de Santo Domingo Este, convirtiéndose en un alcalde cercano a la gente y que da respuesta a sus necesidades.

"Hacemos un llamado en esta oportunidad a todo el que pueda crear conciencia, o que pueda aportar algo en el combate, eliminación y la prevención del mosquito que provoca el dengue, para que se integren a las jornadas. Llevamos más de siete años realizando estos operativos de fumigación y estamos en la plena disposición de continuar con ellos", expresó Peguero.

Esta iniciativa refleja el compromiso de Peguero con la salud pública y el bienestar de la comunidad, además de su disposición para actuar antes de ocupar un cargo electivo.

Adán Peguero explicó que además de esta jornada el próximo viernes pondrá en marcha un amplio operativo en todo el municipio para así contribuir con la eliminación de escombros, basura en solares desocupados, entrega de mosquiteros y así garantizar la salud de los munícipes de cada sector.

Peguero, quien también aseguró que su plan esencial de gobierno municipal está enfocado en que de una vez por todas las promesas se conviertan en realidad.

Promete también establecer un programa responsable de ruta y frecuencia para la recogida de basura en los diversos sectores, para terminar así con un problema que representa un dolor de cabeza para los munícipes de Santo Domingo Este desde hace décadas.

El también presidente del PRM en Santo Domingo Norte realizó esta jornada en los sectores de Los Mina, Los Tres Brazos, El Tamarindo, Los Frailes, Mendoza, Cancino, El Isabelita, Los Mameyes, Los Corales, Mandinga, El Dique, La Toronja, Marginal de Las Américas entre otros.
