CAASD destaca avances en trabajos de remozamiento de las cañadas del Gran Santo Domingo

El director general de la Corporación de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), Felipe Suberví, destacó los avances en los trabajos que realiza la institución en el saneamiento pluvial y sanitario de las diferentes cañadas del Distrito Nacional y la provincia.

Al encabezar un recorrido de supervisión por el gran Santo Domingo, el funcionario informó que las labores en la cañada Las Ochocientas, del sector Los Ríos, van a un ritmo acelerado, al tiempo de señalar que la misma podría ser entregada a la comunidad antes de finalizar este 2023.

En ese sentido, indicó que además de la infraestructura, también se estarán realizando trabajos de embellecimiento de las áreas, para que los residentes tengan garantizada la salud y un lugar de esparcimiento para la familia.

Indicó que la obra beneficiará a más de 25,000 habitantes.

Asimismo, reveló que, en Villa Marina, junto con las labores de limpieza y remozamiento del afluente, se encuentra en construcción un dispensario médico que facilitará los servicios de salud para los residentes de los sectores aledaños.

“Entregaremos un dispensario médico y la cañada totalmente remozada. Nuestra finalidad es elevar los niveles de salubridad de la población”, explicó.

El ingeniero detalló los pormenores de las ejecutorias que se llevan a cabo tanto en el proyecto de saneamiento de Los Peralejos, Los Girasoles, Arroyo Manzano, así como de Villa Linda y Jicaco, en Los Alcarrizos.

Durante la caminata, Fellito Suberví se reunió con los representantes de las diferentes juntas de vecinos, con quienes socializó sobre las labores que realiza la Corporación para mejorar la calidad de vida de sus residentes.

Suberví estuvo acompañado del subdirector Francisco Campusano, y la encargada de la Unidad Ejecutora de Proyectos, Marcelle Ríos, además de otros colaboradores de la CAASD.
