Centroamerica y Repùblica Dominicana buscan estrategia para consolidar presencia internacionales

EL PORTAVOZ,SANTO DOMINGO.-Centroamérica y República Dominicana, han trazado una estrategia audaz para consolidar su presencia en mercados internacionales con un enfoque especial en Europa. La Agencia de Promoción Turística de Centroamérica (CATA, por sus siglas en inglés) tiene planificados una serie de eventos de alto impacto como parte de su agenda de promoción para el año 2024.

Gracias a una sólida recuperación turística durante la post pandemia, la región se embarca ahora en una campaña que va más allá del posicionamiento tradicional, aspirando a la comercialización de la oferta multidestino. Un hito clave en esta ambiciosa agenda es la Caravana Turística que recorrerá las principales ciudades de España, dando a conocer los destinos de Centroamérica y República Dominicana.

Caravana Turística 2024

Del 18 al 27 de enero, las ciudades de Barcelona y Madrid albergarán una serie de eventos de presentación de productos que buscan fortalecer redes contacto con las principales empresas compradoras de oferta turística en Europa.

El viaje comienza el 18 de enero en Barcelona con la Presentación de Destino, donde se invita a los visitantes a sumergirse en paisajes deslumbrantes y culturas vibrantes. Seguido de ello, los DMC centroamericanos y dominicanos tendrán la oportunidad de reunirse con la agencia de viajes PANGEA en Barcelona y Madrid el 19 y 22 de enero respectivamente.

Por otra parte, la presencia en la Feria Internacional de Turismo (FITUR) del 24 al 28 de enero será una ventana a las maravillas turísticas de la región, con un recorrido por el pasado ancestral del Mundo Maya, el paradisíaco Caribe, la exuberante costa del Océano Pacífico, la impresionante naturaleza, hasta llegar al presente innovador del istmo, brindando información sobre segmentos turísticos en auge y nuevos servicios turísticos como aeropuertos, ferrys y servicios de movilidad aérea. El 27 de enero, en un Desayuno – Presentación con la CEAV en Madrid, se ofrecerá un encuentro en donde líderes de la industria se reunirán para profundizar en la visión y oportunidades de la región.

En 2024, CATA impulsará estas y otras iniciativas, fomentando la colaboración entre los países miembros de la Agencia, y proyectando la región como un destino turístico integral hacia la consolidación de Centroamérica y República Dominicana como destinos de primer nivel en el panorama turístico internacional.
