La Dirección General de Aduanas (DGA) anunció este viernes que dispuso la aplicación de la “Gracia Navideña”, a partir de este viernes hasta el 15 de enero del próximo año.

Esta información está contenida en un comunicado de la DGA, en la que especificaron que serán exonerados de impuestos de importación los regalos que traigan los turistas al país, siempre y cuando no sobrepase los 4 mil dólares.

“Quedan liberados o exonerados de todo tipo de impuestos de importación aquellos regalos que traigan al país, los visitantes dominicanos residentes en el extranjero a familiares, amigos y relacionados en general, cuyo costo en su conjunto no sobrepase los cuatro mil dólares”, leía parte del referido documento.

Igualmente las autoridades indicaron que solamente se aplicará una “gracia” por familia y la misma no incluye vehículos de motor, armas de fuego ni “mercancías consideradas materia prima industrial o agrícola, entre ellas, combustibles o sus derivados”.

Asimismo, afirmaron que se le permitirá el transporte de los regalos  con la advertencia de que el valor no puede exceder el monto establecido, y que solo se envíe una unidad de cada tipo de mercancía.

COMUNICADO DE LA DGA 

“La Dirección General de Aduanas (DGA), en cumplimiento de lo que establece la Ley de Aduanas de la República Dominicana, Núm. 168-21, de fecha 9 de agosto de 2022, en su artículo 324, dispone la aplicación de la Gracia Navideña a partir del primero (1) de diciembre del presente año, hasta el 15 de enero del año 2024, y, en consecuencia, quedan liberados o exonerados de todo tipo de impuestos de importación aquellos regalos que traigan al país, los visitantes dominicanos residentes en el extranjero a familiares, amigos y relacionados en general, cuyo costo en su conjunto no sobrepase los cuatro mil dólares de los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica (US$4,000.00), como una forma retribuir parte de los grandes aportes que hacen, a su país, los dominicanos residentes en el exterior.

Se permitirá el transporte de estos por la vía que el viajero estime conveniente, siempre que el valor FOB de los bienes transportados no sea superior al monto establecido y no sea en cantidades comerciales, permitiéndose solamente una unidad de cada tipo de mercancía, especialmente en el caso de los electrodomésticos. Para acogerse a esta facilidad, las personas residentes en el exterior, consignatarias de los envíos, deberán presentarse a las administraciones aduaneras (colecturías) correspondientes con su pasaporte, facturas de compras, pase de abordar y cualquier otro documento que demuestre que su ingreso al país se produjo dentro del período de la Gracia Navideña y que tiene más de seis (6) meses sin ingresar al país. Solo se aplicará una gracia por familia y no incluye vehículos de motor de ningún tipo, armas de fuego ni aquellas mercancías consideradas materia prima industrial o agrícola, entre ellas, combustibles o sus derivados”.
