EL PORTAVOZ,SANTO DOMINGO.-El candidato a alcalde de la alianza Rescate RD, Domingo Contreras, afirmó que las inundaciones que afectaron al Distrito Nacional hace dos semanas, demuestran el fracaso de Carolina Mejía como alcaldesa y el desinterés para dar solución a los problemas de la capital.

Contreras lamentó que más de 10 personas perdieran la vida, el 4 de noviembre del 2022 y que justo un año después los muertos y los daños materiales en la ciudad se multiplicaran, como consecuencia de inundaciones provocadas por las lluvias, sin que las autoridades municipales y gubernamentales hayan presentado un plan para proteger a los capitaleños.

“Carolina Mejía no quiere ser alcaldesa y lo demuestra el hecho de que en noviembre del año pasado las lluvias causaron una tragedia en la capital, volvió noviembre y otra vez las inundaciones  llenaron de miedo y luto a los munícipes, sin que se conozca una respuesta efectiva desde la Alcaldía”, reiteró Contreras.
