DAJABÒN.-Duelo e indignación se viven este miércoles en la provincia fronteriza de Dajabón, en el velatorio del joven Dabel Zapata, ultimado el martes durante un asalto en un puesto de venta de comida rápida en Santo Domingo.

Los restos del joven, profesional del área de la educación e hijo del diputado Darío Zapata, están expuestos en la funeraria Savica de esa ciudad, donde el clamor de los presentes es de que se haga justicia y se endurezcan las penas para los delincuentes.

Los presentes resaltan las cualidades de Dabel, como una persona tranquila y muy preparada.

Mientras que sus padres están sumidos en el dolor por la muerte de su primogénito.

Dirigentes del Revolucionario Moderno, empresarios y amigos están presentes en la funeraria.

El exgobernador Miguel Cruz condenó los hechos y el nivel de violencia que vive el país. También el alcalde Santiago Riverón expresó su indignación.

El comunicador Javier Luciano habló en nombre de la familia, lamentó la situación y clamó para que este tipo de hechos no sigan ocurriendo.

Los restos serán sepultados este jueves en el cementerio del el Sector La Fe, tras una misa de cuerpo presente.

La no ha ofrecido informes de si hay detenido o no por el hecho, en el  que estarían involucradas cuatro personas que presuntamente asaltaban un negocio de comida rápida en la avenida Independencia, cuando el joven, que había llegado de Dajabón, fue a comprar su cena.
