La empresa Edesur Dominicana informó que ya tiene listo su Plan de Contingencia para la temporada ciclónica 2023, con la finalidad de atender las eventualidades y garantizar en el menor tiempo posible la reposición del servicio.

El administrador general de Edesur, Milton Morrison, aseguró que la empresa tiene equipos de trabajo coordinados durante las 24 horas del día en toda su zona de concesión y un protocolo establecido para enfrentar emergencias.

“Informamos a nuestros clientes que en Edesur estamos preparados y haremos todo lo humanamente posible, para hacer frente a cualquier eventualidad que se nos presente. Aunque sea difícil la situación, estaremos ahí dando la cara y tratando de restablecer el servicio cuanto antes” dijo Milton Morrison.

Edesur Dominicana actualmente realiza mantenimientos preventivos a sus redes, y ubicará de manera estratégica los camiones canastos, las grúas y el personal técnico en caso de tormenta o huracán. Además, redoblará la seguridad en las subestaciones y estará atenta al monitoreo y las informaciones oficiales sobre la evolución de cualquier fenómeno atmosférico. 

Desde ya, brigadas de Edesur realizan poda preventiva de árboles, para evitar que las ramas hagan contacto con líneas de alta tensión, con lo cual se evita que provoquen averías y tragedias en zonas residenciales o que obstaculicen las vías.

El Plan de Contingencia de Edesur dará prioridad a los circuitos que alimentan centros de seguridad nacional, hospitales, acueductos, refugios, y otras instituciones sensibles del Estado.

El actual administrador general de Edesur viene trabajando de la mano con la Unión Nacional de Bomberos, entidad con la que firmó un acuerdo y creó un protocolo de seguridad conjunto junto a 15 Cuerpos de Bomberos de su área de concesión, para atender emergencias que involucren fuego y electricidad. 

Igualmente, la referida empresa tiene un acuerdo con la Defensa Civil.

Edesur Dominicana hizo un llamado a sus clientes a reportar cualquier avería o caso de emergencia durante la temporada ciclónica, a través de sus canales institucionales de comunicación.

While Google Voice is no longer an invitation-only service, you need to be in the United States (that is, your computer must have a U.S. IP Address) and you must also have a local US phone number in order to activate your Google Voice phone number.
