Para continuar con su programa de entrega de utilería, el Instituto Nacional de Educación Física (Inefi) realizó este lunes una donación de implementos deportivos a la Casa de la Providencia, en el ensanche La Fe de esta capital, y se comprometió a remozar las dos canchas que tienen en sus instalaciones.
El suministro fue efectuado por el director ejecutivo del Inefi, Alberto Rodríguez Mella, quien acudió al centro educativo a petición de la esposa del fenecido deportista José Daniel Calzada (Mackey), señora Denis viuda de Calzada, quien se mostró muy agradecida por dicha contribución.
Rodríguez destacó que por sugerencia del presidente Luis Abinader Corona, el Inefi continuará fomentando el deporte y la recreación física en todos los planteles escolares de la nación.
“Además de traer acá esta utilería deportiva, nos comprometemos a gestionar la designación de dos profesores de Educación Física y a remozar las dos canchas para que los estudiantes de este centro de estudios puedan ejercitarse y hacer deporte de manera correcta”, sostuvo Rodríguez Mella.
En tanto, la profesora María Asunción Ruiz, directora de la Casa de la Providencia, agradeció el aporte del Inefi, resaltando la gran labor que viene realizando Rodríguez Mella desde su llegada en noviembre pasado a esa institución gubernamental.
Junto a Rodríguez Mella, Asunción Ruiz y Denis viuda Calzada, también estuvieron los miembros del equipo de gestión del centro Santa Nendor, Marbelis Parra, Rosa de la Cruz, Librada de la Rosa y Ana Gipsy Montero.
