El reguetonero puertorriqueño Farruko anunció este martes que del 5 al 27 de agosto próximos se presentará en 16 ciudades de Europa, como parte de su nueva gira en dicho continente al cual regresará después de dos años a causa de la pandemia.

“Estoy muy emocionado de poder volver a los escenarios después de haber estado fuera de Europa durante más de dos años debido a la pandemia”, aseguró Farruko en un comunicado de prensa enviado por sus representantes.

Ante ello, dijo además que está deseando “sentir la increíble energía que mis fans de allá traen a los conciertos. Estoy listo para brindarles un espectáculo inolvidable».

Farruko arrancará esta nueva gira el 5 de agosto en Cádiz, España, y la concluirá el 27 de agosto en Colonia, Alemania.

Otras ciudades de España, Alemania, Portugal, Suiza, Austria, Dinamarca, Francia, Inglaterra y Holanda se sumarán a la gira, según detalla el comunicado.

El mes pasado, Farruko lanzó “Esta Vida”, una colaboración junto al productor y DJ estadounidense Marshmello.

Farruko, dos veces ganador de un Grammy Latino y nominado a un Grammy anglosajón, ha logrado conquistar audiencias masivas alrededor del mundo y se ha convertido en uno de los exponentes más innovadores del reguetón.

En septiembre del año pasado, Farruko y el cantautor puertorriqueño Pedro Capó lograron que su tema “Calma Remix” se agregara en el “Billions Club de Spotify”, una exclusiva lista de canciones que sobrepasan las 1.000 millones de reproducciones.

Igualmente, Farruko recibió en el año 2020 dos premios ASCAP por dicho “remix” y por su éxito “Si Se Da».

Además, en 2021, compartió su himno global “Pepas”, que lo llevó al puesto número 1 en varias listas de Billboard, y alcanzó el puesto número 3 en la lista Global Top 50 de Spotify, con más de 2.2 millones de reproducciones.
