SANTIAGO.- La Fiscalía de Santiago solicitó a la Oficina Judicial de Servicios de Atención Permanente de esta jurisdicción, que imponga la prisión preventiva y que declare de tramitación compleja el proceso contra seis asaltantes que, constituidos en una asociación criminal, cometieron un robo a mano armada en una sucursal del Banco de Reservas del sector La Barranquita, desde donde huyeron con dinero en efectivo, y en donde tres personas resultaron heridas de balas.
A menos de una semana de ocurrido el asalto, la Fiscalía, que dispuso de sus investigadores y analistas expertos en la materia, y con el apoyo de investigadores del Departamento de Investigaciones Criminales (Dicrim), de la Policía Nacional, logró identificar, perseguir y arrestar a seis miembros de la organización criminal, a quienes les imputa delitos por asociación de malhechores, robo agravado, tentativa de homicidio y el uso de armas de fuego.
En la instancia que este órgano investigador ha puesto a disposición del juzgador, identifica a los imputables como Danny Manuel Pimentel de la Cruz, Willmi Pie (ciudadano haitiano), Joel Fontanilla García (Victorino y/o Victoriano), Carlos Rafael Rodríguez Báez (Carlitos), Gregorio Núñez Polanco (Niño Pepe) y Jairo de Jesús Estévez Rodríguez, así como Gerardo Antonio Ramírez García (el Tuerto) y Yenrry Manuel González García, estos dos últimos prófugos.
La narrativa de los hechos con base en la investigación, detalla que los peritos de los organismos que colaboran en las pesquisas junto a la Fiscalía, han analizado evidencias materiales, imágenes de las cámaras de videovigilancia, así como el perfil criminal de los implicados, quienes se conformaron en organización y planificaron los hechos, previendo para ello, la compra de armas de fuego cortas y largas de alto calibre, pasamontañas, gorras, manojos de tie wrap (Tairrá), guantes negros desechables, chalecos antibalas y bultos.
La Fiscalía, entre otros elementos, tiene en su poder un fusil calibre 223 y múltiples cápsulas ocupadas a los detenidos; en tanto que, también, ha logrado recuperar 1.5 millones de pesos en efectivo que fueron sustraídos de la sucursal bancaria.
El órgano persecutor sostiene que los imputados se reunieron semanas previas al hecho y planificaron dirigirse a la entidad financiera, ubicada en el Supermercado La Fuente Fun, en la avenida Antonio Guzmán Fernández esquina Francisco Augusto Lora, del sector La Barranquita.
La Fiscalía, también, tiene en su poder los vehículos que utilizaron los criminales para planificar el hecho, llegar y huir de la sucursal bancaria, dos de los cuales fueron sustraídos a conductores a quienes amenazaron en la vía pública.
Los tres ciudadanos que resultaron heridos durante la balacera que emprendieron los maleantes para evadir la persecución policial y huir, participan como víctimas y denunciantes del proceso junto a la institución bancaria.
