Los titulares del Ministerio de Cultura, Milagros Germán, y del Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y MiPymes (MICM), Víctor Bisonó Haza, encabezaron el acto inaugural de la primera edición del Congreso Nacional de Industrias Creativas RD Naranja 2023.

El objetivo de esta iniciativa, que tendrá lugar desde este viernes 16 hasta el domingo 18 de junio en la Plaza de la Cultura Juan Pablo Duarte, de 9:00 de la mañana a 7:00 de la noche, es fortalecer el ecosistema creativo de la República Dominicana, mediante la formación y capacitación de sus actores, dotándolos de las herramientas necesarias para emprender y hacer de su creatividad un negocio rentable, así como fomentar las industrias culturales.

En ese sentido, la ministra de Cultura, Milagros Germán, aseguró que el gobierno liderado por el presidente Luis Abinader se ha propuesto crear las condiciones necesarias para promover la cultura y la creatividad no solo como parte del patrimonio, sino también como un importante y pujante sector productivo que dinamiza la economía de la República Dominicana.

“Este Congreso Nacional de Industrias Creativas 2023 es, sin dudas, una muestra de nuestro compromiso con el fortalecimiento y reconocimiento de las ideas culturales como un sector económico representativo, productivo y de desarrollo, conformado por profesionales que trabajan y aportan dignamente a través de su creatividad y capacidad intelectual”, afirmó Germán en el acto inaugural.

Igualmente, manifestó su satisfacción por trabajar de la mano con el MICM, coauspiciador de este Congreso Nacional de Industrias Creativas 2023, y agradeció el apoyo del Banco Popular, Propagas, Black & Decker y la Dirección General de Cine, entidades que han aunado esfuerzos en la promoción e impulso de las industrias creativas dominicanas.

En su intervención, Víctor Bisonó resaltó que, el sector creativo se ha caracterizado por su rápido crecimiento y ha demostrado su alta capacidad para crear empleos e ingresos, promover la innovación y contribuir a las comunidades.

“Definitivamente, un sector que, a través de sus aportes a la economía, nos acerca más a las metas que como país nos hemos propuesto”, expresó.

Asimismo, celebró el talento y creatividad de los dominicanos y reconoció a los artistas, panelistas, charlistas, talleristas, artesanos y a todo el personal que estará brindando apoyo durante el fin de semana de celebración del congreso.

Ambos funcionarios se refirieron a las acciones coordinadas que impulsa el gobierno a través de los respectivos ministerios que dirigen, en el marco de la Estrategia Nacional de Exportación de Servicios Modernos.

Como logros de ese trabajo conjunto, los titulares de las dos carteras citaron servicios como el Directorio Creativo y el reforzamiento de la institucionalidad del Comité Nacional de Comercio de Servicios.

Feria Nacional de Artesanía

Milagros Germán dejó abierta la invitación a visitar, durante los tres días de celebración de RD Naranja, la Feria Nacional de Artesanía, que se desarrollará como parte del evento y en la que participan decenas de artesanos y artesanas, exponiendo una selecta muestra de sus creaciones más representativas e innovadoras.

“En La Romana también estarán exhibiendo y comercializando sus piezas 30 artesanos locales, y, así, RD Naranja no se limita a Santo Domingo, sino que también llega a nuestra Aldea Cultural Santa Rosa de Lima con charlas y exposiciones”, señaló Germán.

De la misma manera, invitó a los creativos a aprovechar las numerosas charlas y los más de 10 paneles que se realizarán, cuyos ejes centrales son la cadena de valor en la economía naranja, la creatividad, la innovación y la conectividad.

Por su parte, Víctor Bisonó destacó que 12 de los artesanos participantes en la feria se presentarán en una ronda de negocios con comerciantes locales y representantes de tiendas de regalos, con la finalidad de crear contactos de negocios para impulsar sus comercios.
