El Instituto Dominicano para la Calidad (INDOCAL) anunció el lanzamiento del programa “El Interactivo de INDOCAL”, un espacio audiovisual que busca fomentar el desarrollo de la cultura de calidad en el país, mediante la promoción de las buenas prácticas en los procesos de producción y gestión de bienes y servicios en los consumidores y el tejido productivo nacional.

La iniciativa forma parte de las acciones alineadas a la Política Nacional de Calidad 2021-2024, con miras a educar y orientar a la ciudadanía sobre las actividades desarrolladas por el INDOCAL en materia de normalización, metrología y evaluación de la conformidad, a fin de garantizar el acceso a información para un consumo seguro y responsable, que contribuya a elevar la eficacia en los procesos de producción local.

“Se trata de propiciar la formación y el empoderamiento de los consumidores dominicanos, para que exijan productos de calidad asociados a estándares nacionales e internacionales y que, a su vez, incentiven la competitividad productiva”, expresó Lorenzo Ramírez, director general del INDOCAL.

El proyecto se estrenará este viernes con un primer episodio relativo a los procesos de Buenas Prácticas de Higiene (BPH) en las cocinas comerciales, como eje sustantivo para garantizar la salud y el bienestar de la población.

El Interactivo del INDOCAL se transmitirá todos los viernes, a las 4:00 de la tarde, a través del canal de YouTube INDOCALRD.

Indocal es la autoridad nacional responsable de la normalización y de la metrología legal, industrial y científica en la República Dominicana, es componente estructural fundamental del Consejo Dominicano para la Calidad, CODOCA.

Como organismo normalizador, el INDOCAL tiene como funciones organizar las actividades de elaboración, adopción, armonización, aprobación, oficialización, publicación y divulgación de las normas técnicas, con miras a facilitar el comercio y el desarrollo industrial y servir de base a los Reglamentos Técnicos.

En lo que respecta a la metrología, su responsabilidad reside en desarrollar y diseminar la exactitud de los patrones nacionales de medición del país, así como la verificación, la calibración y la certificación de los instrumentos de medición que intervienen en el comercio.
