El Instituto Nacional de Educación Física (INEFI) celebró este miércoles la novena entrega del premio “Medalla al Mérito Magisterial en Educación Física”, donde fueron galardonados 18 profesores y 5 personalidades recibieron el título de “Maestros de Siempre”.
El acto, encabezado por Alberto Rodríguez Mella, director ejecutivo del INEFI, dijo sentirse muy emocionado al entregar los galardones a los maestros de educación física, al tiempo de agradecer también a los ejecutivos y colaboradores de esa institución gubernamental.
“Aquí se encuentran maestros destacados que realizaron una labor encomiable el pasado año escolar y quiero reconocer personalmente a todos los profesores presentes por dedicar su vida a la educación física y a la niñez dominicana”, manifestó.
Rodríguez Mella resaltó que gracias al trabajo que realizan los profesores “día a día impactan y tienen la oportunidad de mejorar la vida de jóvenes que representan el futuro de nuestra nación. Y lograr ese cambio positivo, aunque sea en un solo alumno, ya es suficiente para recibir un reconocimiento”.
Dijo sentirse orgulloso por formar parte del INEFI, entidad desde la cual “tratamos de respaldar las labores de capacitación y desarrollo que impulsa la dirección docente de la institución y nos comprometemos a continuar dando nuestro apoyo en esas actividades que impulsan el desarrollo individual de nuestros maestros y de la institución de manera colectiva”.
Agradeció a todos los maestros su contribución a la educación física durante décadas de trabajo. “Es bueno que sepan que el instituto y las nuevas generaciones de maestros los miran con orgullo”.
Resaltó que todos los maestros, aun los que no recibieron galardones, “son ganadores por su aporte a la juventud de nuestro país”.
Galardonados
Los 18 profesores de educación física galardonados recibieron una medalla, un certificado, una laptop y un premio metálico, mientras que las otras 5 personalidades fueron reconocidas con un certificado, placa y un premio metálico cada uno.
Los profesores fueron Sebastián Terrero Medrano (Barahona), Kermelin Encarnación Vicente (San Juan de la Maguana), Alexis Alberto Aybar (Azua), Yasmir Emperatriz Carrasco Medina (San Cristóbal), Cristian Ricardo Luis Vásquez (San Pedro de Macorís) y Miguel Evangelista Tapia Bidó (La Vega)
También fueron premiados Ramona Yoanny Comprés Vásquez (San Francisco de Macorís), Alfonso Balbuena Brito (Santiago), Jeyssy Indira Inoa Martínez (Mao) y Cristopher Alberto Tavárez (Santo Domingo).
Recibieron sus medallas Gregorio Severino Ventura (Puerto Plata), Jesús Manuel Tapia Rivera (Higüey), Carlos Ariel Carrasco (Monte Cristi), Melkis López (Nagua), Malaquías Cruz (Santo Domingo), Víctor Eladio Hilario Valerio (Cotuí), Alicia Milena Núñez Alcántara (Monte Plata) y Jaimet Evelina Reyes Florián (Neyba).
En tanto que el grupo de los “Maestros de Siempre” estuvo encabezado por el inmortal del deporte vegano, Fernando Arturo Teruel, junto con Esteban Pérez Polanco, Germán Castro Gómez, Leandro Adalberto de la Cruz Bello y Nelson José Ramírez.
En el acto también estuvieron Oscar Amargós, en representación del ministro de Educación, Ángel Hernández; Franklin Duval, subdirector general del INEFI; César Ruiz, subdirector administrativo y financiero; Manuel Morel, director docente, y la directora regional Teodosia Otaño.
