Inefi y grandes atletas dominicanos llevan deporte a Ciudad Juan Bosch

El Instituto Nacional de Educación Física (Inefi) llevó este viernes a Ciudad Juan Bosch su programa “Atletas con Inefi”, al que asistieron reconocidos atletas de alto rendimiento y viejas glorias del deporte dominicano.

En la jornada también se llevaron a cabo operativos odontológicos, exhibiciones, charlas y entrega de utilería en los seis centros estudiantiles existentes en esa localidad ubicada en Santo Domingo Este.

Las exhibiciones y charlas fueron dirigidas por el maestro FIDE, Braulio Ramírez en ajedrez; la inmortal del deporte dominicano, Blanca Iris Alejo, de tenis de mesa; María García, en Judo; Gina Mambrú, de voleibol; Francisco Alberto Ozuna, de baloncesto; las atletas de balonmano, Cari Luz Domínguez, Jhoanna Elizabeth y Zuleidy Suárez; Juana Arrendel, de atletismo; Ana Villanueva, en Karate y el medallista panamericano Nelson Javier Ozuna, de bádminton.

Alberto Rodríguez, director ejecutivo del Inefi, destacó la disposición de los atletas de participar y dar parte de sus conocimientos a los jóvenes dominicanos.

“Agradecemos grandemente la participación de estas leyendas del deporte dominicano, como Luisito Pie, medallista olímpico; las inmortales Blanca Iris Alejo y Juana Arrendel; las Reinas del Caribe, Gina Mambrú y Camil Domínguez, y todos los demás, que han tomado su tiempo para impulsar a las nuevas generaciones a que tomen el deporte como parte de su desarrollo”, dijo Rodríguez.

Para la actividad fueron suministrados útiles deportivos de varias disciplinas para el desarrollo deportivo de los estudiantes de Ciudad Juan Bosch.

La judoca María García, coordinadora del programa “Atletas con Inefi”, explicó que el propósito de las actividades de ese departamento es de “integrar el deporte en los centros educativos, implementando de manera constante charlas y exhibiciones de diferentes disciplinas deportivas con atletas que han representado al país en los más importantes escenarios nacionales e internacionales”.

Los centros escolares intervenidos fueron, el politécnico Evangelina Santos de Bergés, donde se entregó utilería y la exhibición de judo y taekwondo; escuela Hermanas Mirabal, en la que se llevó a cabo el operativo odontológico, también hubo una exhibición de tenis de mesa y balonmano.

En la escuela Profesor Juan Bosch, además del operativo odontológico, se hizo una exhibición de fútbol. Mientras que en la Escuela Gabriela Mistral se desarrollaron las actividades de ajedrez y bádminton.

El politécnico Fray Balbino Pineda Gálvez fue escenario de las exhibiciones de voleibol y en el liceo Coronel Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó se impartió la charla antipandillas y se realizó una clínica de baloncesto a cargo del ex selección nacional, Alberto Ozuna.
