SANTO DOMINGO.-La línea aérea dominicana Arajet anunció el recibimiento de su sexta aeronave un 737 MAX 8, el próximo jueves en una actividad prevista en el aeropuerto Internacional de Las Américas, José Francisco Peña Gómez.

Arajet señaló que el avión llevará como nombre “Isla Saona”, como parte de la estrategia responsabilidad social de elevar, promover y crear conciencia sobre la importancia de la preservación de las principales aéreas protegidas del país.

Al mismo tiempo con la iniciativa se busca impulsar el turismo interno de la República Dominicana y promoverlo a nivel internacional.

“Para nosotros sería un placer que nos acompañe en el Aeropuerto Internacional Las Américas a las 9:30 am a un pequeño acto que estaremos realizando para recibir esta nueva aeronave expresó la aerolínea de matrícula dominicana.

La aerolínea anunció recientemente que a partir del año entrante iniciará sus operaciones desde el aeropuerto Internacional de Las Américas, hacia territorio de Estados Unidos, luego de que se firme el acuerdo de Cielos Abiertos entre EE. UU y el país.
