EL PORTAVOZ, SANTO DOMINGO.-Un agente de la Policía Nacional fue asesinado la madrugada de este lunes durante un asalto.

El incidente ocurrió en la avenida circunvalación en dirección La Cuaba, cuando el agente William Encarnacion Ramirez transitaba en una motocicleta y fue interceptado por desconocidos, siendo brutalmente asesinado mientras intentaba protegerse.

Encarnación Ramirez logró alcanzar de un disparo a unos de sus verdugos, quien también pereció en el lugar, en relación al acompañante se informa que huyó del lugar con rumbo desconocido.
