Además, el experto indicó que un sistema débil puede impactar las Antillas Mayores pero uno más fuerte probablemente solo rozaría las Islas de Sotavento o evitaría el Caribe por completo.
“Parece probable que se fortalezca a corto plazo y llegue a huracán. Pero una vaguada este fin de semana causaría vientos cortantes y lo debilitaría. Al no saber cuándo y cómo ocurrirá, CNH coloca un ciclón categoría 1 en el Caribe”, indicó Morales a través de sus redes sociales.
De igual forma, el Centro Nacional de Huracanes ve una posibilidad del 30 % al 40 % de la formación de otra depresión tropical en los próximos días. Esta se encuentra a «varios cientos de millas» al sur-suroeste de las Islas de Cabo Verde, en África.
La actual temporada de huracanes, que comenzó el pasado 1 de junio en la cuenca atlántica y termina el próximo 30 de noviembre, prevé tendrá un número promedio de ciclones.
