Ante la crisis que arropa al vecino Haití, el Ministerio de Interior y Policía tomó la iniciativa de capacitar a los dirigentes comunitarios y de manera especial a los profesionales del derecho, en los temas relacionados con los procedimientos migratorios, que en ocasiones son motivo de conflictos sociales en los barrios de los diferentes sectores del país.

La jornada se desarrolla en el marco de las acciones encaminadas a la culminación del Primer Congreso de Normas Comunitarias, en el cual el equipo de trabajo encabezado por el viceministro Juan Manuel Rosario, responsable de la seguridad ciudadana en el Distrito Nacional, realizó un curso de formación para profesionales del derecho y otras áreas, interesados en asuntos migratorios y de naturalización.

Durante el desarrollo de la actividad, el Ministro de Interior y Policía, Jesús Vásquez Martínez, exhortó a los participantes a que se integren a través de las normas comunitarias en la lucha a favor de la seguridad ciudadana en el Distrito Nacional, para enfrentar la violencia generada tanto por la delincuencia como por aspectos relacionados con problemas de convivencia.

En dicha actividad, el viceministro Juan Manuel Rosario hizo una introducción sobre la dinámica de las migraciones enfocada desde la perspectiva de la geopolítica migratoria y del impacto de las migraciones en la situación particular de la República Dominicana.

De su lado, la profesora Laura Maríñez explicó a los participantes todos los procedimientos concernientes a las migraciones y la naturalización en la República Dominicana.

Maríñez hizo hincapié en la necesidad de que los profesionales y las personas interesadas entiendan que en la medida que son celosos en la aplicación del derecho dominicano, en esa misma medida contribuyen a la seguridad nacional y la seguridad ciudadana de la República Dominicana.

De igual manera, el director de Naturalización, Benito Vidal, y Joel del Orbe de los Programas de Prevención, se encargaron de explicar las normas comunitarias que están siendo discutidas con los ciudadanos, para garantizar que la sociedad, trabajando en conjunto con la Policía Nacional, contribuya a crear un ambiente de seguridad ciudadana en la República Dominicana.

En el taller participaron más de 60 profesionales del Distrito Nacional y, además, fue anunciado un gran evento que se llevará a cabo el 19 de noviembre, donde se proyecta que participen más de 2,000 dirigentes comunitarios para la clausura del Congreso de Normas Comunitarias del Distrito Nacional.

Para ese magno encuentro se ha planificado que ciudadanos del Distrito Nacional firmen un acuerdo sobre acciones orientadas a combatir y hacer desaparecer la proliferación de ruidos innecesarios en los diferentes sectores y barrios de la capital dominicana.
