El Ministro de la Presidencia, Joel Santos Echavarría, juramentó este martes a los nuevos titulares de Proyectos Estratégicos y Especiales (PROPEEP), de la Administradora de Subsidios Sociales (ADESS) y de la Dirección General de Pasaportes, así como al nuevo asesor de la Presidencia en materia de Educación Superior.
Como director de PROPEEP, el Ministro juramentó al comunicador y productor cinematográfico Roberto Ángel Salcedo, quien agradeció al Presidente Luis Abinader el haberlo tomado en cuenta para esta posición, la cual asumirá con responsabilidad y con el compromiso de ser parte del cambio que ha prometido este Gobierno.
De igual forma, Santos Echavarría juramentó a Catalino Correa Hiciano como director de ADESS y a Digna Reynoso como la nueva directora de Pasaportes, al igual que a Francisco Vegazo Ramírez como asesor de la Presidencia en materia de Educación Superior.
Al asumir su cargo, Correa Hiciano manifestó el interés de trabajar en conjunto en el desarrollo de proyectos que beneficien la sociedad dominicana, mientras que Reynoso aseguró que con estas nuevas funciones que asume seguirá contribuyendo al fortalecimiento de la administración pública, a través de una gestión limpia, transparente y participativa.
Durante la juramentación, realizada en el Palacio Nacional, el Ministro Santos Echavarría extendió a los funcionarios el apoyo del Gobierno y muy en especial de este Ministerio de la Presidencia. Todos los funcionarios fueron designados el lunes por el Presidente Luis Abinader, mediante el Decreto 15-23.
Sobre los funcionarios
Correa Hiciano era el contralor general de la República, mientras que Reynoso era la directora de la Administradora de Subsidios Sociales (ADESS). De su lado, Vegazo Ramírez, fungía como rector del Instituto Técnico Superior Comunitario (ITSC), en tanto que, Roberto Ángel Salcedo no tenía funciones en el Gobierno.
