SANTO DOMINGO.-Nick Franklin ya está listo para reforzar la ofensiva de los Leones del Escogido, según informó este lunes el departamento de Operaciones de los 16 veces campeones nacionales.

El bateador de ambas manos tiene varios días en el país y estará disponible para el encuentro de esta noche entre los Leones y los Tigres del Licey en el estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal.

Franklin, quien tiene la capacidad de defender todas las posiciones del cuadro interior, viene de participar en la American Association con los Sioux City Explorers y con los Kane County Cougars.

En 49 juegos este año, Franklin colocó una línea ofensiva de .273/.383/.559, 13 cuadrangulares, 44 impulsadas y 11 dobles.

El nativo de Florida tiene experiencia en las Grandes Ligas, ya que jugó con los Marineros de Seattle, Rays de Tampa Bay, Los Ángeles Angels y Cerveceros de Milwaukee del 2013 al 2018.
