El presidente Luis Abinader inauguró el play Andrés Gil, en San José de Villa, uno de los sectores más populosos del municipio de Nagua. Este fue reclamado por la comunidad por más de 20 años y representa una instalación moderna, equipada y preparada para albergar a más de 30 ligas de béisbol y más de 12 equipos de fútbol.

El presidente de la Comisión Presidencial de Apoyo al Desarrollo Provincial, Ángel de la Cruz, señaló que el gobierno de Luis Abinader se dedica a construir grandes obras para impulsar el desarrollo económico de la República Dominicana.

Acto seguido, el presidente Abinader inauguró el parque central Juan Pablo Duarte, que mejora la imagen urbana y la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos, con un espacio abierto, seguro, incluyente y sostenible. Sus elementos principales son los muros, las palmeretas y el mirador.

Entre los participantes estuvieron, el ministro de Interior y Policía, Jesús -Chu- Vásquez; los directores de la Policía Nacional, Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, y de Digesett, Francisco Osoria; la gobernadora Gregoria Correa; el senador Alexis Victoria Yeb; el superintendente de Electricidad, Andrés Astacio; los alcaldes, de Cabrera, Marlon Arias y de Nagua, Junior Peralta.
