Presidente Abinader suspende agenda de este domingo en Bahoruco e Independencia por incidencia de onda tropical y vaguada

El Presidente Luis Abinader decidió suspender las actividades que tenía programadas para este domingo en las provincias Bahoruco e Independencia, como medida de prevención y para estar atento ante cualquier eventualidad, debido a la incidencia de una onda tropical y vaguada en el país.

La agenda del mandatario se suspende atendiendo al informe del tiempo de este domingo, de  la Oficina Nacional de Meteorología (ONAMET).

El informe meteorológico establece que desde horas muy tempranas, habrá lluvias entre moderadas a fuertes, en ocasiones, con tormentas eléctricas y ráfagas de viento, que estarán concentradas principalmente en poblados del litoral costero caribeño.

Los efectos de la misma incidirán principalmente sobre La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Peravia, Azua, Barahona y Pedernales.

Conforme avance la mañana y durante la tarde, esta actividad se irá extendiendo hacia otras localidades del sureste, suroeste, noreste y la Cordillera Central, debido a los campos nubosos de la onda tropical y la incidencia de una vaguada en los niveles medios de la troposfera.

Mañana lunes permanecerá la vaguada en los niveles medios y altos de la troposfera, dominando las condiciones del tiempo, por lo que se esperan durante horas matutinas y vespertinas, lluvias débiles a moderadas, tormentas eléctricas y ráfagas de viento, sobre localidades del sureste (incluyendo El Gran Santo Domingo), noreste y de la parte central del país. Para el resto del territorio nacional no se esperan lluvias significativas.

La ONAMET vigila una onda tropical sobre el suroeste del país en aguas de Mar Caribe. La misma posee baja probabilidad de alcanzar la categoría de ciclón tropical en las próximas 48 horas y para esta noche se estará alejando de nuestra área de responsabilidad.

El Presidente Abinader tenía previsto dejar iniciados este domingo los trabajos de construcción del subcentro de la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) en Neiba, provincia Bahoruco, que beneficiará a cientos de estudiantes de la zona.

Igualmente, en Jimaní, provincia Independencia, tenía pautado asistir al acto de PROPEEP, en el Liceo Politécnico Máximo Pérez, para luego encabezar el acto de entrega de tarjetas SUPÉRATE, en la Escuela Antonio Duvergé.

Así mismo, el gobernante tenía programado el anuncio de la construcción del Mercado Binacional, en la comunidad de Malpaso, y un encuentro con el sector agropecuario.

La agenda del Presidente Abinader contemplaba, también, un almuerzo con Juntas de Vecinos de Jimaní, en el Polideportivo Marino Pérez y entrega de viviendas a personas de escasos recursos, en el sector Jimaní Viejo.

Además, el mandatario tenía previsto un encuentro con 150 jóvenes emprendedores, profesionales y deportistas, en el Casino de Jimaní.
