WASHINGTON.- El presidente estadounidense, Joe Biden, cumple este 20 de noviembre 81 años, una edad con la que pretende presentarse a la reelección y que afecta negativamente a su popularidad, que estos días está más baja que nunca.

El año pasado, Biden se convirtió en el primer octogenario en ocupar la Casa Blanca y, si todo transcurre según lo previsto y el Partido Demócrata le elige de nuevo como candidato, será el aspirante a la presidencia de mayor edad en la historia de Estados Unidos.

Aunque hay un par de aspirantes sin posibilidades reales de resultar elegidos, el Partido Demócrata ha hecho una única apuesta por el mandatario con el razonamiento de que si en 2020 logró ganar a Donald Trump, este 2024 podrá hacerlo de nuevo.
