SANTO DOMINGO.- El precandidato a alcalde del Distrito Nacional y miembro de la dirección política de Fuerza del Pueblo (FP), Rafael Paz, informó este viernes que resultó positivo a la prueba del COVID-19, razón por la que decidió suspender tres actividades que tenía prevista para este fin de semana en varios sectores de la capital.

Así lo informó en una publicación en su cuenta de Twitter, en la que llamó a la población a cuidarse.

«También he resultado positivo al COVID-19. Por tal motivo hemos solicitado a nuestro equipo suspender las 3 actividades que habíamos convocado para el fin de semana en el Ensanche Capotillo, El Mangüito y el Ensanche La Paz. Es momento de cuidarse y tomar precauciones, pues evidentemente hay un rebrote del virus», escribió.

Hasta el momento, Paz es el segundo político de la Fuerza de Pueblo que resulta positivo a la citada enfermedad, ya que el jueves, el presidente de esa organización política, Leonel Fernández, informó que se contagió del referido virus.
