República Dominicana presenta con más de 15 empresas oferta exportable en la feria Fruit Logística en Alemania

La directora ejecutiva del Centro de Exportación e Inversión de la República Dominicana (ProDominicana), Biviana Riveiro, y el embajador dominicano en Alemania, Francisco Caraballo, dieron formal apertura junto con las empresas exhibidoras dominicanas, al pabellón de República Dominicana en la feria Fruit Logística, evento líder para el comercio mundial de frutas y vegetales frescos.

Este año el evento contará con la presencia de más de 3,000 exhibidores procedentes de más de 91 países, entre ellos República Dominicana, y se estima que la asistencia de agentes comerciales sobrepasará más de 40,000 personas.

Riveiro resaltó que, desde ProDominicana, abrir las puertas a los productores dominicanos en los mercados extranjeros es una prioridad. “Tenemos un compromiso con el Plan Nacional de Fomento a las Exportaciones 2020-2030 lanzado por el Presidente Abinader y damos cumplimiento al mandato de la Estrategia Nacional de Desarrollo (END) 2030”.

La directora ejecutiva aseguró que al combinar las políticas de desarrollo productivo y el fomento a las exportaciones “lograremos un impacto en el objetivo específico 3.51 de la END, que comprende impulsar el desarrollo exportador sobre la base de una inserción competitiva en los mercados internacionales, y el objetivo 3.5.3 para elevar la productividad, competitividad y sostenibilidad ambiental y financiera de las cadenas agroproductivas, a fin de contribuir a la seguridad alimentaria y aprovechar el potencial exportador y generar empleo e ingresos para la población rural”.

De su lado, el embajador Francisco Caraballo aseguró que en "el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores tienen el firme mandato de impulsar la política exterior desde la perspectiva comercial, por lo que aseguró que desde esa misión diplomática se trabaja para apoyar a las empresas y a los exportadores, fortaleciendo con ello los importantes lazos comerciales que tenemos con Alemania”.

Biviana Riveiro, directora ejecutiva de ProDominicana, afirmó que "nos sentimos muy contentos con el incremento general de nuestras exportaciones, en especial en el mercado alemán donde, al cierre del 2022, las exportaciones hacia Alemania totalizaron USD 133.3 millones, para un crecimiento de un 15 % respecto al 2021. Los principales productos exportados hacia esta nación son los cigarrillos, instrumentos médicos, bananas frescas, tabaco y plátanos frescos".

El pabellón de la República Dominicana contó con la participación las siguientes empresas: Bayanas Gold, AMR Agro, Caralinda Agroindustrial SRL, Ely Import & Export, Antonio R. Taveras Agroindustrial, Agrio, Vermount Export, GI SILA, Quality Agro Export, Sun Food Export (SUFOEX), LandFruits, Exportadora Tavarez, Grupo Iren Dominicana, Grupo Banamiel, J. Frankenberg, Oliver & Oliver, entre otras. Entre los productos expuestos por las empresas dominicanas en la feria se encuentran: piña, coco, aguacate, mango, limones, ajíes, banano y ron.

Asimismo, los productores tendrán la oportunidad hasta el 10 de febrero de realizar importantes rondas de negocios con la debida asistencia técnica por parte de los representantes de la institución.
