Datos recientemente publicados en la página web oficial del Seguro Nacional de Salud (SeNaSa) han revelado un alarmante exceso en dietas y los gastos de representación de la institución en lo que va de año.

A pesar de un presupuesto anual asignado de 3 millones de pesos para este propósito, los registros indican que SeNaSa ha gastado una asombrosa suma de 10 millones 33 mil con 328 pesos, generando preocupación en torno a la gestión de los recursos públicos y el cumplimiento de las directrices de austeridad establecidas por el presidente Luis Abinader al inicio de su mandato.

Fuentes internas han indicado que estos gastos han sido utilizados en compra de ropas, boletos aéreos, hospedajes en hoteles, regalos, comidas y bebidas en restaurantes.

Este exceso en el gasto plantea interrogantes sobre la transparencia dentro de la institución, especialmente en un contexto en el que la eficiencia en el gasto público se ha convertido en una prioridad primordial para el gobierno.

Expertos en salud pública han expresado su preocupación por el posible impacto de estos gastos excesivos en el presupuesto asignado para mejorar y expandir los servicios de salud en el país.

Se espera que, en respuesta a estas revelaciones, SeNaSa haga una aclaración detallando el uso de estos fondos y las medidas que se tomarán para asegurar un gasto responsable y eficiente en el futuro.

Además, se anticipa una evaluación por parte del gobierno para garantizar el cumplimiento estricto de las políticas de austeridad establecidas por el presidente Abinader.
