El Ministerio de Cultura informó hoy que más de un centenar de librerías y editoras nacionales e internacionales estarán presentes durante los 10 días de celebración de la XXV Feria Internacional del Libro Santo Domingo 2023 (FILSD 2023), que en esta edición tiene el lema “Para todo hay un libro”.

Las librerías y editoras se encontrarán en cuatro grandes pabellones, ubicados en zonas estratégicas de la renovada Plaza de la Cultura Juan Pablo Duarte, para que los miles de visitantes a la FILSD 2023 puedan acceder fácilmente a adquirir sus títulos preferidos, en horario de 9:00 de la mañana a las 9:00 de la noche. 

La presente versión de la Feria del Libro, que se celebrará del 24 de agosto al 3 de septiembre, está dedicada a la escritora y poeta dominicana Jeannette Miller, y cuenta con Israel como país invitado.

El MINC aseguró que más de 180 sellos o firmas editoriales estarán representados por 20 editoras internacionales, 30 nacionales, 23 librerías locales y espacios para revistas, literatura religiosa y fundaciones, así como por autores independientes. La Editora Nacional estará ubicada en el Pabellón de Editoriales.

Entre las editoras nacionales que han confirmado su participación figuran Editorial Santuario, Editorial Actualidad Escolar, Susaeta Ediciones SAS, Ediciones CP, Ediciones SM Dominicana, Últimos Monstruos Editores (UME), Luna Insomne Editores, Editora Poetas de la Era, Editora Universitaria Bono, Editorial Sin Límites, Revista Tobogán, Mateca y Asodolibro.

También, Librería Prodocente, Cuesta Libros, Soluciones Educativas, B.W. Book Word, Libros María Luisa Trejo, Superarte, Distribuidora de la Mar, Librería Hernández, Librería Radhamés, Librería Ella, Video Cine Palau, Librería La Trinitaria, Librería La Filantrópica, Imphero, Librería Libro Reliquia, Librería El Poeta y Bibliodon.

Editoras y librerías internacionales

Entre las editoras internacionales que expondrán sus títulos durante esta fiesta de la literatura están el Fondo de Cultura Económica, Isla Negra Editores, Huerga y Fiero Editores, Editorial Planeta, Amargord, Editorial Eva (colectivo de Costa Rica), Flacso, Círculo de Poesía, Universidad de Salamanca, Editorial EDP University (Puerto Rico), Elefanta Editores y La Pereza Editores.

Otras son Lexus Kids, Lexus Editores, Cámara Cubana del Libro, Bolivia Distribuidores, El Mundo de los Minilibros y Alliterations Publishing.

Entidades

Por otro lado, estarán presentes en esta fiesta de la cultura y la literatura más importante de la República Dominicana, como es la FILSD23, el Archivo General de la Nación, la Academia Dominicana de la Historia, la Sociedad Dominicana de Bibliófilos y la Comisión Permanente de Efemérides Patrias, entre otras.

El Museo del Hombre Dominicano acogerá las instalaciones del Archivo General de la Nación; mientras que la Sociedad Dominicana de Bibliófilos, la Academia Dominicana de la Historia y la Comisión Permanente de Efemérides Patria, estarán instaladas en el Pabellón Paseo de la Lectura.
