SANTO DOMINGO.-“Usted irá a la cárcel de Najayo, por un periodo de un año”, así se expresó el juez Juan Francisco Rodríguez Consoró, tras concluir el conocimiento de una solicitud de prisión preventiva en contra del vicealmirante retirado Félix Alburquerque Comprés, acusado de matar al comunicador Manuel Taveras Duncan.

El magistrado Rodríguez Consoró, del juzgado de Atención Permanente del Distrito Nacional, tomó la decisión al acoger un pedimento presentado en ese sentido por la fiscal Rosalba Ramos, Magaly Sánchez y María Silvestre.

Taveras Ducan falleció a causa de herida por proyectil de arma de fuego en hemitórax derecho y salida en región dorsal, conforme al acta de levantamiento de cadáver No. 65197, realizada por Inacif.

De inmediato, el imputado fue sacado del tribunal bajo estricta medida de seguridad y llevado a la cárcel del Palacio de Justicia de Ciudad Nueva, hasta tanto sea llevado a la cárcel de Najayo, A la salida rehusó hablar con los periodistas que cubren la fuente judicial.

De su lado, los abogados José Fernando Pérez Volquez, Domingo Ramírez y Doris García Fermín, quienes representan a los familiares de la víctima, saludaron la decisión del tribunal por considerar que era la medida más idónea, para que el imputado no pueda sustraerse del proceso.

Mientras Ingrid Hidalgo, abogado del imputado, consideró que la decisión del juez de enviar a su prisión a  Alburquerque Comprés, no fue ninguna sorpresa para la defensa, ya que el magistrado que conoció la medida había manifestado que si la conocía dictaria prisión preventiva.

Sin dijo que lo único que le solicitaron al juez era que en vez de enviar a su cliente a la cárcel de Najayo, lo enviará a operaciones especiales o al polvorín, que son las cárceles que tienen para los militares y los policías cuando cometen un hecho o se le acusa de cometer un hecho delictivo
