Milton Morrison explicó que días antes de las elecciones municipales, brigadas especiales de Edesur permanecerán fijas en los alrededores de los recintos y colegios electorales, para atender cualquier eventualidad en el menor tiempo posible, mientras que un equipo de seguridad especial también de Edesur, entrenado para estos casos, será desplegado en puntos críticos por seguridad nacional, como las subestaciones.
Edesur Dominicana reforzará además sus antenas de comunicación y las subestaciones Herrera, UASD, Matadero y Embajador.
Como es habitual, un equipo de la empresa estará trabajando 24 horas al día, monitoreando los circuitos desde el Centro de Operaciones de la Red y recibiendo por la vía telefónica el reporte de cualquier emergencia a través del número 809-683-9393 o correo electrónico ot24h@edesur.com.do.
