El Instituto Nacional de Educación Física (INEFI) entregó utilería deportiva a la escuela Divina Providencia y un tablero de mica transparente al multiuso del municipio Consuelo, de esta comunidad de la región Oriental.

Alberto Rodríguez Mella, director ejecutivo del INEFI, dentro del equipamiento deportivo, entregó una mesa de ping pong y juegos de ajedrez, disciplina que el INEFI está incentivando en los planteles escolares del país.

“Estamos masificando el ajedrez, así que cuenten con todo lo que tiene que ver con el juego ciencia, el cual contribuye con agilizar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes que lo practican”, sostuvo.

En su intervención en el multiuso, el director ejecutivo del INEFI motivó a todos los presentes a cuidar el tablero de baloncesto, la utilería y la mesa de ping-pong porque dicho equipamiento es muy costoso.

Rodríguez Mella también informó la entrega de 330 desayunos y 330 almuerzos para los participantes, lo cual fue recibido con beneplácito por Isidro Santana, director provincial, y Juan de Mata Cordero, director distrital.

Rodríguez Mella fue asistido por Alberto Ozuna y Minerva Doñé, quienes coordinaron la actividad en San Pedro.

También estuvo presente Joel Nieves Clemente, técnico distrital en Educación Física; Fausto Pozo, técnico regional de INEFI,  y el profesor de Educación Física Erick Padilla, en representación de la escuela Divina Providencia.
