SANTO DOMINGO.- La comisión que investigó el conflicto de la Cámara de Cuentas tiene un informe más robusto que el expediente del caso de corrupción administrativa Medusa, esto a juzgar por las evidencias encontradas a lo interno del órgano de control, las cuales superan las 13 mil páginas.
El tiempo que se ha tomado la comisión que investigó a los miembros titulares de la Cámara de Cuentas para hacer su trabajo se debió a la gran cantidad de evidencias encontradas en las documentaciones que el mismo pleno del órgano fiscalizador aportó a los diputados, según el legislador Rogelio Alfonso Genao, quien encabezó las pesquisas.
En ese sentido, se espera que sea este vienes cuando se tenga listo el informe mediante el cual se recomienda un juicio político a los cinco funcionarios de la entidad auditora.
Pese a las presuntas pruebas que enarbolan los diputados oficialistas para acusar de delitos a los miembros de la Cámara de Cuentas, la oposición insiste en que presentarán votos disidentes para tratar de impedir la destitución de los integrantes del pleno del órgano fiscalizador.
Entre las faltas graves que señaló el presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, Alfredo Pacheco, y que supuestamente se cometieron en la Cámara de Cuentas está el ocultamiento de auditorías, la alteración de actas y la usurpación de funciones.
Según el presidente de la comisión, las faltas graves encontradas fueron individualizadas para cada miembro titular de la entidad auditora, aunque Genao reiteró que hay otros actos ilícitos que fueron cometidos por el pleno completo.
