SANTO DOMINGO.- El Segundo Tribunal Colegiado del Distrito Nacional inició este lunes, luego de varios aplazamientos, el conocimiento de juicio de fondo contra los imputados en el supuesto entramado de corrupción administrativa denominado Antipulpo.

En estos momentos, las magistradas Clariber Nivar, Clara Castillo y Jisell Soto, escuchan la lectura del Ministerio Público (MP) sobre la acusación del expediente que involucra al hermano del expresidente Danilo Medina, Alexis Medina y otros acusados.

Al inicio de la audiencia la abogada Ingrid Hidalgo, quien representa a Alina Vargas, sometió un incidente con el que buscaba que el representante legal del Estado en el caso, Jorge López Hilario, que asignó otro representante, se mantenga presente en audiencia hasta que concluya el juicio.

Hidaldo argumentó que López Hilario fue designado por decreto para defender al Estado dominicano, y que por esa razón no debe transferir su defensa a un segundo abogado para que lo represente.

También está siendo acusado en Antipulpo Fernando Rosa, expresidente del Fondo Patrimonial de las Empresas Reformadas (Fonper) y otros imputados en el caso, a los que se acusan de asociación de malhechores y de desfalcar al Estado con más de 5,000 millones de pesos.
