El alcalde de Santo Domingo Este, Manuel Jiménez entregó el remozado parque Los Molinos, el cual beneficiará a cientos de familias que residen en los alrededores de Los Frailes y la autopista Las Américas.
La infraestructura llevaba décadas abandonada, y era reclamada por los residentes de la zona, quienes hoy reciben una obra totalmente remozada para el disfrute de toda la familia.
“Este parque lo hemos intervenido, ya se empieza a ver bonito, ya empiezan a florecer las matas y vinimos a decirle a la comunidad que vengan a disfrutar del parque”, indicó Manuel Jiménez.
Destacó además las modernas y coloridas luces instaladas en el parque.
Dijo que también fue acondicionada la cancha que está en las proximidades del parque, en beneficio de los jóvenes del sector.
Jiménez instó a los munícipes a cuidar esos espacios, que sirven de recreación para la comunidad, como una forma de que no tenga que trasladarse a otros lugares a pasar tiempo de ocio en familia.
El edil dijo que desde la alcaldía continuará trabajando para dar cumplimiento a las necesidades reclamadas por la gente, y llevar a cada comunidad las obras prioritarias que necesitan para que tengan una mejor calidad de vida.
“Son promesas muy sentidas, conquistas que esta comunidad ha luchado durante años y que hoy comienzan a verlas hecha realidad”, aseguró el alcalde.
En el acto de entrega participaron funcionarios de la Alcaldía de Santo Domingo Este, comunitarios, así como representantes de las juntas de vecinos Vida y Esperanza, Vida y Sacrificio y Jardines de Las Américas, quienes instaron a los comunitarios a cuidar la infraestructura y darle seguimiento para que permanezca en buen estado.
Jiménez también supervisó los trabajos de remozamiento y limpieza de áreas verdes, así como el acondicionamiento de calles en los sectores Los Farallones y Aguas Locas, ubicados en las proximidades de la Avenida Las Américas.
