CAASD informa producción de agua se sitúa en 396.51 millones de galones diarios; mantiene activado el programa de suministro con camiones cisterna

La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) informó que la producción de agua potable se encuentra en 396.51 millones de galones diarios para abastecer a los usuarios del Gran Santo Domingo.

La institución reportó una disminución de 23.46 millones de galones diarios, debido a la salida de operación del sistema Haina-Manoguayabo donde se realizaron trabajos para dar solución a una avería en línea de 60″.

Para esta semana, los niveles de las presas Jigüey y Valdesia se mantienen con poca variación en sus caudales. Jigüey en la cota 513.42 sobre el nivel del mar y Valdesia en 140.66.

Para este jueves hay mucha humedad en la masa de aire y mucho calor, registrándose temperaturas muy altas.

Para cubrir la demanda en sectores con escasez de agua potable, la CAASD mantiene activado el programa de suministro con camiones cisterna.

La institución reiteró su llamado a la población de hacer uso consciente del agua, evitando desperdiciarla en labores innecesarias en estos momentos de sequía.
