La viceministra de Cooperación Internacional del Ministerio de Economía, Planificación y Desarrollo, Olaya Dotel, destacó la gestión íntegra y honesta del presente Gobierno encabezado por el presidente Luis Abinader, que invierte más y mejor.
“Este ha sido un Gobierno honesto, estratégico y asertivo; ha tomado decisiones que han garantizado los ingresos de la ciudadanía”, afirmó Dotel, quien participó en el debate de análisis de los tres años de gestión del presidente Abinader, en un programa televisivo, junto con el economista Daniel Toribio y el senador Yván Lorenzo.
Dotel precisó que el Gobierno gestionó en sus primeros dos años una economía de guerra, en una enorme incertidumbre geopolítica, con decisiones asertivas. La politóloga explicó que el Gobierno ha sido eficaz y eficiente y ha elevado la inversión pública, lo cual la ciudadanía puede observar a través de los mecanismos de transparencia del Estado.
En ese aspecto, enfatizó que en este último semestre la República Dominicana elevó la ejecución financiera de la inversión pública en RD 43,258 millones, lo que equivale un 48 % mayor con respecto al período anterior del 2022. “Estamos hablando de que además de que estamos invirtiendo más estamos, estamos invirtiendo mejor”, puntualizó.
Asimismo, indicó que al cumplirse el primer semestre de este año “hemos ejecutado el 50 % de lo previsto y eso no ocurría en anteriores gestiones”.
