La Comisión Nacional de Energía (CNE), institución adscrita al Ministerio de Energía y Minas (MEM), inauguró la Segunda Cohorte de la Especialidad en Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista, donde convergen todos los participantes del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional Interconectado (SENI).
Esta especialidad, que se llevará a cabo desde el 1 de junio hasta el 1 de septiembre del presente año, contará con un total de 30 participantes por parte del Ministerio de Energía y Minas (MEM), Ministerio de Economía, Planificación y Desarrollo (MEPyD), Ministerio de Hacienda, Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Mipymes, Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, Consejo Unificado de Empresas Distribuidoras de Electricidad (CUED), Comisión Nacional de Energía (CNE) y EDESUR.
Una especialidad para conocer y analizar el negocio eléctrico
El objetivo de este programa es dotar a los participantes técnicos, ejecutivos e invitados de las instituciones hermanas, con los conocimientos necesarios para comprender el negocio eléctrico, en los sectores de distribución, transmisión y generación del mercado eléctrico mayorista de la República Dominicana.
En ese sentido, con la realización de esta especialidad se busca conocer y analizar el negocio eléctrico, en aras de entender sus factores de importancia para aplicarlos, ya sea desde la posición de vendedor o comprador de energía en el mercado mayorista.
La CNE comunicó que su intención, al realizar este tipo de iniciativas, es continuar capacitando a los técnicos, para adquirir un dominio actualizado sobre los aspectos regulatorios del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional.
