MONTE PLATA.- El director ejecutivo del Departamento Aeroportuario (DA), Víctor Pichardo, encabezó este viernes el acto de graduación de 66 bachilleres de la promoción “ROSE 2022-2023”, de su nativa provincia Monte Plata, a quienes aconsejó a no dejar de luchar por sus sueños.
Se trata dela XV Graduación Ordinaria de Bachilleres organizada por el liceo Madre Ascensión Nicol, que en esta ocasión, tuvo como padrino a Pichardo.
“Me emociona verlos lograr sus metas de la mano, primero, de sus padres, quienes siempre creyeron y apostaron a ustedes y, segundo, de sus profesores, que realizan una loable labor en este liceo por el porvenir de nuestro país”, expresó.

El funcionario exhortó a los estudiantes a no desmayar en los pasos que siguen para su formación profesional, y a no olvidarse nunca de su provincia y de la familia de donde vienen.
También aprovechó el escenario para entregar becas a los bachilleres que lograron excelencia académica, para cursar estudios técnicos superiores en diferentes instituciones, y otorgó medallas al mérito estudiantil.
Los centros que contribuyeron al aporte de becas son el Instituto Tecnológico de Las Américas (ITLAS), el Centro Cultural lo Nuestro y la academia de formación aeronáutica IASCA, que preside Juan José Miquilena.
Los bachilleres serán formados en Desarrollo de Software, Mecatrónica, Multimedia, Tripulantes de Cabina (Azafatas), Sonografía e Imágenes Médicas y otras.
«Creemos firmemente que la educación es la base del desarrollo de los pueblos y de la familia. Sus padres y la sociedad esperan mucho de ustedes», expuso.
En el espacio de reconocimiento, Pichardo recibió una placa por sus aportes y dedicación en favor del desarrollo de los jóvenes y la educación. La ceremonia contó, además, personalidades locales del ámbito religioso, social y educativo, como la profesora Yolanda Custodio, madre de Pichardo; Julio Pimentel, del Distrito Educativo, así como el personal directivo del liceo.
