NUEVA YORK. – El presidente Luis Abinader arribó a las 4:10 minutos de la tarde a Nueva York, en vuelo comercial desde el Aeropuerto de Punta Cana, para asistir el domingo al tradicional desfile dominicano.

El mandatario llegó acompañado por su esposa, la Primera Dama, Raquel Arbaje; y el presidente del Senado, Eduardo Estrella.

La embajadora dominicana en Washington, Sonia Guzmán, y el cónsul en Nueva York, Eligio Jáquez, lo recibieron a su llegada por el Aeropuerto Jhon F. Kennedy.

A las 8:00 de esta noche de este viernes, el gobernante participará en una cena de gala en el Greentree Country Club.

Sábado 12

A las 9:00 de la mañana de este sábado, Abinader participará en un desayuno con las seccionales y cónsules. Posteriormente, encabezará la firma de acuerdo para la promulgación de la Ley de Licencias de Conducir, actividad coordinada por la gobernadora del Estado de Nueva York, Kathy Hochul.

A las 11:10 de la mañana encabezará el acto de entrega de llaves para viviendas a dominicanos residentes en los Estados Unidos, el cual se desarrollará en el consulado dominicano.

Más tarde, el mandatario se dirigirá al Inwood Hill Park para un encuentro y fotografía con los niños de la Liga Infantil de Béisbol más antigua de Manhattan.

Luego, recibirá un reconocimiento de parte de policías activos y retirados, en el Salón Alumnos de la Universidad de Columbia. De igual forma, sostendrá un encuentro con los oficiales electos del noreste en el Bakersfield.

Concluirá su agenda del sábado con el acto de entrega de reconocimientos por el INDEX, en el Salón Alumnos de la Universidad de Columbia.

Domingo 13

Para el domingo, el jefe de Estado sostendrá un encuentro con la comunidad, en el Restaurante Hudson, coordinado por el congresista Adriano Espaillat.

A la 1:00 de la tarde el presidente Abinader participará en la Parada Dominicana en Manhattan, siendo el primer mandatario dominicano que participa en esta actividad que es la más importante actividad que realiza
