La Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este (Edeeste) culminó los trabajos y puso en operación el transformador de la Subestación BNV, en el municipio Santo Domingo Norte, donde se quemó la unidad móvil, avería que afectó a cientos de clientes del servicio energético.
Con la acción, que implicó el esfuerzo ininterrumpido de decenas de técnicos desde que ocurrió el siniestro el pasado lunes, Edeeste restableció el suministro eléctrico a los sectores que bordean toda la avenida Jacobo Majluta, Los Guaricanos y zonas aledañas.
“Agradecemos la actitud comprensiva y el apoyo de nuestros clientes en esa área, lo que nos permitió agilizar la labor de manera continua, día y noche, para restaurar el servicio. Reiteramos nuestro compromiso de seguir trabajando para brindar energía confiable, constante y de calidad”, dijo Edeeste en una nota de prensa.
Por su lado, David Gálver, presidente de la Junta de Vecinos Cachimán, externó su agradecimiento al ingeniero Manuel Mejía Naut, gerente general de Edeeste, y a los técnicos que trabajaron para el pronto restablecimiento del suministro energético en esa parte del municipio.
Hizo lo propio Jorge de la Rosa, presidente de la Junta de Vecinos del sector Colinas del Arroyo II, quien indicó que durante la semana pasada tuvieron inconvenientes con el servicio eléctrico, pero reconoció que los trabajos fueron constantes y que en todo momento se prestó atención a sus solicitudes.
“Entendemos que la respuesta fue la necesaria. Al final, la comunidad está un poco más cómoda; pero se ha logrado restablecer el servicio y estamos contentos”, puntualizó.
Ambos dirigentes comunitarios estuvieron en las áreas de trabajo, pendientes y estimulando los esfuerzos de los técnicos de Edeeste.
La empresa también informó que, junto a las autoridades competentes, se investigan las causas del incendio y la consecuente suspensión del servicio en esa zona de la provincia Santo Domingo.
