El Cuerpo Especializado en Seguridad Aeroportuaria y de la Aviación Civil (CESAC), en su calidad de anfitrión de la décimo séptima reunión del Comité Nacional de Seguridad de la Aviación Civil (CONASAC), recibió en su sede principal a las autoridades civiles y militares que constituyen esta organización, en República Dominicana.
La citada reunión estuvo encabezada por el ministro de defensa, Teniente General Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa, ERD; presidente del CONASAC, y el director general del CESAC, general de brigada piloto Floreal Suárez Martínez, FARD., durante el encuentro de estos altos mandos ejecutivos de la seguridad de la aviación civil, se conoció como tema principal de agenda la enmienda al Programa Nacional de Seguridad de la Aviación Civil (PNSAC), octava edición, 16 de septiembre 2021.
Asimismo, se expuso el informe del estatus de los trabajos de la Comisión para la Centralización del Área de Inspección en Carga y las estadísticas de la implementación del Plan Piloto sobre Inspección Secundaria de Equipaje Facturado sin la Presencia de Pasajero en los Aeropuertos Internacionales José Francisco Peña Gómez (MDSD) y Gregorio Luperón (MDPP), cuya presentación estuvo a cargo de Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI AERODOM.
Entre las propuestas sometidas ante el CONASAC, se elevó la de “ampliar el alcance del sistema de E-Ticket y la solicitud de aplicación de manera obligatoria, a las personas que visiten República Dominicana, en vuelos privados y aerolíneas.
Conjuntamente con el Ministro de Defensa y el general de brigada piloto Floreal Suárez Martínez, FARD, en esta décimo séptima sesión participaron miembros de la Dirección de Inteligencia del Estado Mayor Conjunto del MIDE, de la Fuerza Aérea de República Dominicana (FARD) y representantes de instituciones como el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Policía Nacional, Dirección Nacional de Control de Droga.
Así como el Departamento Nacional de Inteligencia, Instituto Dominicano de Aviación Civil, Junta de Aviación Civil, Departamento Aeroportuario, Dirección General de Migración, Dirección General de Aduanas, Dirección General de Pasaportes, Instituto Postal Dominicano, Procuraduría de la Corte de Apelación y representantes de los explotadores u operadores de los aeropuertos.
