Los jugadores dominicanos Amed Rosario, Reynaldo López, Carlos Santana, y el novato Jhonny Severino encabezaron los primeros movimientos entre equipos de Grandes Ligas, previo a la fecha límite que vence el martes, a las 6:00 de la tarde.

Los primeros en ser negociados fueron el torpedero Amed y el lanzador López el miércoles en la noche.
Rosario pasó desde Cleveland a los Dodgers por el derecho Noah Syndergaard.

Rosario, de 27 años, batea. 265/.306/.369 con 40 impulsadas, 19 dobles y tres cuadrangulares en 94 juegos esta temporada para los Guardianes.

Rosario, un veterano de siete temporadas en las Mayores, llegará a la agencia libre después de la campaña 2023. Actualmente tiene un contrato de un año y US$7.8 millones.

Mientras que el derecho López fue cambiado junto al abridor Lucas Giolito a los Angels por los novatos Ky Bush, lanzador zurdo, y el receptor cubano Edgar Quero, ambos de ligas menores.

Santana, de 37 años, firmó con Pittsburgh como agente libre el pasado noviembre. Batea .235/.321/.412 con 12 jonrones y 53 impulsadas en 393 veces al bate.

Santana tiene promedio de .242 con 290 jonrones durante su carrera de 14 temporadas en Grandes Ligas. Santana llega a los Cerveceros por la baja producción ofensiva desde la primera base.

En medio de la ola de cambios que se esperan hasta la fecha límite del martes, sobresale el jardinero Juan Soto, de San Diego, quien ahora con la salida del japonés Shohei Ohtani del mercado, queda como la figura principal.
