EL PORTAVOZ, SANTO DOMINGO.– El presidente del Partido Revolucionario Dominicano (PRD), Miguel Vargas, destacó este viernes que estos 26 años de la partida física de José Francisco Peña Gómez confirman su legado, y el amor que tuvo por el país y esa organización política.
“Ciertamente, nos sentimos comprometidos con la vida y la trayectoria de nuestro amigo, compañero y líder”, externó.
“Hoy rendimos tributo de reconocimiento, de respeto y admiración a José Francisco, a su memoria”, dijo Vargas.
También remarcó que “Peña dejó muchos legados. Entre ellos, la conformación de alianzas para lograr mayoría y gobernabilidad”.
“Asumimos la misión de cumplir su visión de un gobierno compartido, por lo que propiciamos la gran alianza opositora, cuyo principal propósito es construir un estado de bienestar para la gente”, expresó.
“Tenemos una gran oportunidad, y por eso, entendiendo ese legado de Peña, nos propusimos, junto a líderes de otros partidos conformar la Alianza Opositora Rescate RD”, añadió.
Vargas precisó que dicha coalición busca “crear mayoría, gobernabilidad y encaminar este país por un rumbo distinto, de progreso, bienestar y prosperidad”.
Mediante una nota de prensa, la entidad política indicó que estas palabras las externó el dirigente político durante la tradicional misa de recordatorio por el 26 aniversario de la partida física de su líder histórico, el doctor José Francisco Peña Gómez.
