SANTO DOMINGO.- Los precios de las gasolinas, los dos tipos de gasoil y el gas licuado de petróleo se mantendrán sin variación para la semana 26 de agosto al 1ro. de septiembre 2023, luego de que el Gobierno destinara un subsidio extraordinario para dicho periodo por RD$565.7 millones de pesos.
En tanto que el avtur y el kerosene RD$5.50 y RD$5.80, respectivamente. El gas natural también mantendrá su precio.
El viceministro de comercio Interno, Ramón Pérez Fermín, informó que el WTI ha experimentado marcadas fluctuaciones, que, en el caso de las últimas semanas, ha visto un incremento cercano al 15.4% y «es por ello que el gobierno del Presidente Luis Abinader ha intensificado su compromiso de solidaridad y empatía con los dominicanos, destinando un subsidio extraordinario para esta semana de RD$565.7 millones de pesos».
Pérez Fermín explicó que a pesar de las alzas globales, el bolsillo de los dominicanos no se verá impactado en la proporción que el mercado internacional indica; “el Gobierno del presidente Luis Abinader, asumirá esta semana el 100% del aumento de los combustibles domésticos, para que los dominicanos no se vean afectados y por ende podamos seguir avanzando en la dirección de la prosperidad y podamos seguir creciendo como país. En definitiva, nuestro gobierno concentra sus mejores esfuerzos en trabajar por el bienestar de todos, pero con especial énfasis en la protección de los menos favorecidos”.
Agregó que esta semana el gobierno está subsidiando la Gasolina Regular en RD$36.70 por galón, Gasolina Premium por RD$27.20, Gasoil Optimo por RD$48.38, y el Gasoil Regular por RD$47.26. Reiteró, este no es solo un esfuerzo económico; “es una manifestación de que este gobierno piensa en la estabilidad y la tranquilidad del pueblo dominicano”.
