El presidente Luis Abinader  dejó inaugurada la ampliación de la Escuela Básica Bienvenido del Castillo, en el sector Los Arroces del municipio Bonao, provincia Monseñor Nouel.

El centro educativo cuenta con 15 aulas y beneficiará a más de 500 alumnos.

Por su parte, el ministro de Educación, Ángel Hernández, manifestó que el gobierno del presidente Luis Abinader ha hecho lo necesario para crear en todo el país nuevas oportunidades para el desarrollo de la educación, tanto inicial como en los demás niveles.

Indicó que durante este año electivo más de 20,000 niños en edades de 3 a 5 años ingresaron al sistema educativo y se construyen cerca de 3,000 aulas para crear más oportunidades para este nivel.

La escuela posee áreas administrativas, baños, comedor, cancha y plaza cívica.

Acompañaron al mandatario, el ministro de Agricultura, Limber Cruz; el director del Inespre, Iván Hernández Guzmán; la gobernadora de La Vega, Luisa Jiménez de la Mota; el alcalde de Bonao, Eberto Nuñez; el senador de La Vega, Ramón Rogelio Genao; los diputados, Orlando Martínez y Norberto Ortiz, así como la directora de Pasaportes, Digna Reynoso.

Asimismo, el director de Infraestructura Escolar del Ministerio de Educación, Fernando Taveras y la gobernadora de la provincia Monseñor Nouel, Adela Mercedes Tejada Gil de Rosario.
