El alcalde Eberto Núñez expresó que el matadero cumple con todos los estándares adecuados y que la cancha permitirá que cientos de jóvenes disfruten del deporte y se alejen de los vicios.
Por otro lado, manifestó que en Bonao ya se han construido 61,000 metros de aceras y contenes, se ampliaron los camposantos, se ejecuta el corredor ecológico de Villa Liberación y el mercado municipal.
Acompañaron al mandatario, el ministro de Agricultura, Limber Cruz; el director del Inespre, Iván Hernández Guzmán; la gobernadora de La Vega, Luisa Jiménez de la Mota; el alcalde de Bonao, Eberto Nuñez; el senador de La Vega, Ramón Rogelio Genao; los diputados, Orlando Martínez y Norberto Ortiz, así como la directora de Pasaportes, Digna Reynoso.
Asimismo, el director de Infraestructura Escolar del Ministerio de Educación, Fernando Taveras y la gobernadora de la provincia Monseñor Nouel, Adela Mercedes Tejada Gil de Rosario.
