SANTO DOMINGO.- El Quinto Juzgado de Instrucción del Distrito Nacional varió este viernes la prisión preventiva al abogado Emilio López, quien ahora deberá cumplir arresto domiciliario, impedimento de salida y grillete electrónico.
López, acusado de agredir física y psicológicamente a su pareja, la comunicadora Tamara Martínez, también le impuesta orden de alejamiento de su pareja sentimental.
El Tribunal tomó la decisión con el argumento de que Emilio López no representa un peligro para la víctima y que tiene arraigos suficientes para cumplir prisión domiciliaria.
En ese sentido, Emery Colomby Rodríguez, abogada de Emilio López, informó que la prisión preventiva interpuesta por el juez coordinador de la Oficina de Atención Permanente del Distrito Nacional, Rigoberto Sena, fue desproporcionada.
El togado solicitó la revisión de su caso en una audiencia que concluyó a la una de la tarde del día de hoy, conocida por la jueza Rosalmy Guerrero.
El abogado es imputado por violar los artículos 309-I, 309-2, 309-3, literal D y H, sobre violencia de género y el 332 del Código Penal Dominicano.
Emilio López fue apresado el pasado 12 de mayo, tras una denuncia interpuesta por la señora Cesarina Piña, madre de la comunicadora.
